I think the main problem is that (small) end customers tend to think in terms of web sites, not web applications. Like if you could build a social network using dreamweaver, FTP and forget about it.

Fortunately, lately I'm finding more startups who really know what building a web application means, and I'm being able to work for them as a freelance. Things are changing here, it's just a matter of time.</description>

The problem i have, was that most of the start-ups i met, don't accept a freelancer as a CTO. For some strage reason, they wanted the people to be part of the company.

Maybe i can understand why, but for nothing, agree with that.</description>
